Leviticus 1:14-16

¹⁴ If his offering to the Lord is a burnt sacrifice of birds, then he shall bring his offering from turtledoves or from young pigeons. ¹⁵ The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off its head, and burn it on the altar. Its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar. ¹⁶ He shall remove its entrails with its feathers and throw it to the east side of the altar to the place of the ashes.
